  • Android · Coming soon

Gospify is a daily Scripture companion in the shape of a game. Five minutes a morning: a verse, a lesson, a reflection. Over weeks you climb a structured Path through the Bible; ask Lumen — an AI study companion — when a passage opens new questions; and keep a quiet streak of faithful days.

Seek, and ye shall find — Matthew 7:7

What sets us apart

Not just another Bible app.

Most Bible apps pick a tradition, paywall their best tools, or treat you as a funnel. Gospify is built differently — tradition-aware, genuinely free, and respectful of your time and attention.

Typical Bible app
Gospify
Tradition
One lens. Either Catholic, or Protestant, or "generically Christian."
Both, side by side. Tradition Mirror shows what Catholic and Protestant teaching each say on the same doctrine, with sources.
Asking the Bible a question
A single AI answer, tradition unknown, or no AI at all.
Long-press any verse → two answers, one Catholic, one Protestant, each citing Scripture first then a confessional source.
Pricing
Freemium. The best features sit behind a $50–$80 / year subscription.
100% free for individuals. Forever. No ads. No premium tier. The developer personally pays for every AI call you make.
Your data
Stored on the vendor's servers. Maybe exportable. Maybe sold.
On your device. Optional iCloud sync lives in your iCloud, not ours. No analytics, no trackers, no third-party SDKs.
Gamification
Streaks that shame you. Hearts/lives that paywall on day three.
Streaks with a Sabbath rest day and a grace period. Oil (energy) refunds when you master a memory verse. Shop is cosmetics-only — no pay-to-win.
Mac + Watch
iOS-only, or a Mac "app" that's a webview wrapper.
Native SwiftUI on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS. ⌘1–⌘8 shortcuts on Mac. Lock-screen and watch complications included.

Four things no other Bible app ships

01

Denominationally-aware AI

Lumen is the only Bible tutor built to answer in the user's tradition — or in both. The system prompt carries your Catholic / Protestant preference and your grammatical-gender choice, so answers cite the right authorities and address you correctly in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, and German.

02

Original-language study, TTS included

Tap any verse to see its Greek or Hebrew interlinear — lemma, morphology, Strong's number. Then press the speaker: iOS reads it aloud in Koine Greek or Biblical Hebrew at a learner-friendly 78% speed. Logos charges hundreds for this. It ships free in Gospify.

7,927 Greek verses (MorphGNT) · 23,213 Hebrew verses (OSHB) · bundled offline.

03

The Church calendar, automated

Computus-driven Easter math populates a full liturgical calendar through 2100 — Advent, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Pentecost, plus Catholic-only and Protestant-only feasts — filtered to your tradition. Opt into notifications and you'll get an eve-before and morning-of alert for each.

04

Science-backed memory, without the pressure

Memory verses use SM-2 spaced repetition — the same algorithm that powers Anki. Mastering a verse refunds an Oil (energy) charge, so faithful review powers your next lesson. Turn off gamification entirely in Settings → Study Mode if you want the Library without the economy.
